Auug Demo Video Description

Examples of use (as demonstrated in first half of our Kickstarter video):

  • Use motion and touch to expressively play an iOS synth app. Demo video examples: (1) Animoog – 0.00 to 0.21 mins, (2) Magellan Jnr – 0.22 to 0.33 mins.

  • Use motion and touch to wirelessly control software on a laptop. Demo video examples: (1) AUUG ‘videoscrub’ software running on a macbook pro and rear projected onto screen – 0.34 to 1.00 mins, (2) AUUG motion-reactive visuals software running on a macbook pro and rear projected onto screen – used in all examples except for the ‘videoscrub’ section.

  • Create and expressively control vocal harmonies in real time. Demo video examples: (1) Microphone input to AUUG motion synth running harmonizer app – 1.01 to 1.15 mins (see FAQ), (2) Microphone input to harmonizer hardware 1.32 to 1.45 mins (see FAQ)

  • Control vocal effects in real time. Demo video example: (1) Microphone input to AUUG motion synth running delay and reverb effects app – 1.16 to 1.31 mins (see FAQ)

  • Use motion and touch to expressively play a hardware synthesizer. Demo video example: Nord Stage 2 keyboard, with the notes, octaves, and filters of the synth module controlled by AUUG motion synth via iRig MIDI cable – 1.46 to 2.03 mins.
